About Kurt
Kurt Cymerint is the co-founder and CFO of Advantage First Consulting and Advantage Reverse Lending. Also, as the founder and CEO of AdvantageFirst Lending, Kurt is the traditional mortgage expert within the leadership team. With over 17 years of mortgage experience, he is one of the most respected mortgage professionals in Southern California. Kurt has guided thousands of happy families through some of the most tumultuous real estate markets in history and helped them find the perfect loan for their dream house.
Starting in 2005, Kurt joined Solstice Capital. He was the top producer in both units and loan volume for the entire company. Recognized as a rising star, Kurt was recruited in 2009 by loanDepot, where he built one of the company’s top-producing sales teams. Kurt went on to work for Home Financing Inc. as an associate broker, who led the company in both total units and funded loan volume from 2012 to 2014.
2014 was a pinnacle year for Kurt’s mortgage career as he decided to launch his own full-service mortgage company, AdvantageFirst Lending Inc. After 10 years of experience in the industry, he had the perfect platform to branch out on his own. Kurt’s leadership, expertise, dedication, and professional network have allowed him to create a first-class team of licensed Mortgage Bankers. Kurt has instilled his values of “doing the right thing” and “the consumer comes first” into the core of his everyday business.
Outside of business, Kurt is married to the love of his life, Randi. They are the fortunate parents of three amazing boys; Noah, Isaac and Cohen (and a pretty brown Boxer named June). Kurt is an avid mountain biker and runner and completed his first triathlon in 2017. Above everything else, Kurt’s main priority is always being the best husband and father to his loving family.
About jon
Jon Foss, co-founder and COO of Advantage First Consulting and Advantage Reverse Lending, has been in the real estate industry for 13 years now. Jon’s real estate journey started in the appraisal industry, as his dad is an appraiser of 40+ years and wanted him to take over the family appraisal business. He worked as an appraiser for 3 years, and while he excelled at appraising, his passions were in helping educate people on their lending options and helping the senior community gain clarity on their equity options in retirement. For the next 10 years, Jon worked at the largest reverse mortgage lender, American Advisors Group. He started as a loan officer, directly connecting with consumers, and then moved into a Team Lead position for 6 years before joining Adam in the Sales Development division. Throughout all the different positions Jon held with AAG, combined with his experience as an appraiser, has made him an invaluable resource for understanding all aspects of the reverse mortgage process.
After a decade of working with the largest Reverse Mortgage company in the nation, Jon decided to create his own company with Adam and Kurt with the mission of always putting the client first and creating an environment where people can learn without pressure. At the end of the day, you need to be informed before you can make a good decision and we understand the importance of gaining clarity to be in a confident position to decide one way or another.
Outside of work, Jon is first and foremost a family man. He has been blessed with an amazing wife, Hanieh, and beautiful little girl Suri. He is most happy when spending time with his girls, but also loves to golf and play guitar.
About Adam
Adam Huebner is a co-founder and CEO of Advantage First Consulting and Advantage Reverse Lending. He has been in the Reverse Mortgage industry for 11 years, and is constantly looking to improve and grow as a professional and individual. Adam worked with the largest direct lender in the industry- AAG, where he helped create a more consultative approach to helping homeowners explore different mortgage options.
Adam decided to partner with Kurt & Jon to build a culture where the north star is education and service. There are a lot of misconceptions in the reverse mortgage industry, and Advantage Reverse is looking to take those head on.
Outside of business, Adam is married and has 3 amazing kids. On weekends you are guaranteed to find them on a soccer field, football field or dance studio.
